Made in America, Our 242nd Birthday!

Our Country has been celebrating its independence for 242 years. Manufacturing in the United States has come a long way since the start of the Industrial Revolution. The manufacturing industry was once seen as a dirty, crowded, assembly line type work. Although some may still see the industry in this light, manufacturing is truly one of the most advanced industries in the economy.

  • Each manufacturing job creates at least 2.91 more jobs in other sectors

  • Every $1 of goods produced in manufacturing generates $1.43 for the economy

  • 90% of manufacture workers have medical benefits

  • 78% of manufacture workers get retirement contributions from their employer

  • Manufacturing in the United States alone, would be the 9th largest economy in the World

  • In just 5 states, manufacturing adds over half a trillion dollars to the economy
